The aim of the AMCs is to train specially selected candidates to be called Army Medical College Cadets for five academic years according to the curriculum laid down by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC) for MBBS degree to be awarded by Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and following the military norms & instructions. This will foster producing a group of high quality doctors for the Armed Forces in particular and for the nation in general.
